Quiz answer not save after submit the attempt

Hi,

I made a quiz with 2 essay questions type (free Navigation method ) and the time set to be  1 hour and 5 minutes, (see the attached images). when some student submits their quiz the system does not save any of their answers (empty).  

what are the issues that I made it?

did the students claim that he entered the answer? maybe he did not answer anything
is this problem for a specific student or all students
can you review thier log

The student says they answer the question.
It just for 5 students.
