UI Improvements

Hello,

I’m on Moodle 3.10 but this is more of a general post regarding best way to customize and improve the UI in moodle.  I wish it was easier to remove options from the UI for users.

For example Some customizations we have done:

- hide the side bar (too many options) and we link to the necessary pages using custom html blocks and our own buttons

-skip tje “timed quiz activity” pop up. We inform our students on quiz Intro screen

- skip the “submit answers” screen - users thought they had completed the quiz and left

Things I want to do - if anyone have any ideas on these please share!

-- change the “next page” button to an arrow icon

- change the font style for “submit attempt” to draw attention to that action

- this is a general rant that I think the next big step will be for moodle to allow educators to simplify the UI more easily as all of the options are amazing and allow for the wonderful robust platforms but can be confusing for students and overwhelming for educators.
