Quiz requirements - need to change for one specific student

Dear all,

I'm searching to solve the following problem: we're having a course composed with 8 modules.
Each one is ended with a quiz (50 questions) and requirement to pass is 46/50.
We're havking many students currently working in this course without any trouble.

But since some days a student stucks in the first module and he's unable to complete the 46 score. He challenged the quiz many times without success.
He's asking us to open manually access to other course module. This is a professional course (for employees) and this request is in fact legitim. (to continue his lecture without scoring for the quiz)

But this situation is complex:
- he already completed many times quiz without success.
- we don't want to impact our existing other students - they perform well and we don't want to push them to retake any passed quiz
- other students are applying well requirements - we don't want to change current requirements for other candidates

What approach can I have to solve this trouble??
Any chance to bypass the quiz score requirement for one student?  (manually change db - not too dangerous?)
Any other approach on this complex situation?

Hello Chris,

In the quiz settings of the other modules and under "Access restrictions", add a "User profile" for this student and modify the restrictions to allow him to do the modules.

Thanks that's a really good approach!! I will do this ASAP ;)

Could you confirm: changing the module restriction will not impact other users status (of course if conditions remain the same for them). No need to check anything else? (or activate something?)

Bonjour Chris,

The change will take effect immediately without affecting other students. You could close the "eye" so that the exemption for the student is not visible to other students. You don't have to do anything else.

For example, simply change this
