I have a doubt. I am in a project that will use Wordpress + Woocommerce as a store for the sale of courses that will be inside Moodle.
Recently we acquired a plugin that integrates the products of the store and the courses of Moodle, including making the enrollments of the users when they finalize a payment.
I recently heard the recommendation of a hosting service that we should not leave Wordpress and Moodle on the same server, that they should be separated. Has anyone heard something like this? Because so far we have never had any problems with the two running on the same machine (we use a dedicated server).
We are thinking of a large growth of users, something around 50,000. According to the company we hire, the server will be able to support the load. But I was in doubt because this second hosting service (competing with the one we hired) said that Store + Moodle installations on the same server were not recommended.
Has anyone heard anything like that?
