Kindly note that at our institution, due to our data privacy policy, we have set up all user accounts in Moodle to have the setting Email display set as Hide my email address from non-privileged users.
In view of this, all emails generated via a forum post or the messaging system display our no-reply email address, as required.
Our issue is that unfortunately, although Moodle sends out the email as Name Surname (VIA Moodle), we still have several users who reply to our no-reply email address, which generates a bounce message, as expected. And some users even reply to the bounce message because they don't understand why this was generated.
Do you have these issues? And how is it being mitigated?
