Moodle in English: Recommended themes for MOOC

Hi,
Do you have any recommendations for modern looking and innovative themes that can be used in MOOCs ?
I'm open to recommendations about both free and paid themes.

When talking about such a theme, I'm expecting the following:
* Modern UX with a responsive design
* Good mobile support
* Good support for embedding of videos
* Good use and display of Moodle features such as activity completion, restrict access and other that are popular in MOOCs.

Any recommendations will be welcomed.

I would recommend looking at the plugins database for themes and installing a few of them onto a test server and seeing which one suits your needs as many of the modern themes bring additional features and functionality beyond providing a 'skin' for Moodle.
Some of the most popular right now are:
Fordson
Moove
Adaptable
Though you should certainly check out some of the others on the database too.
Don't forget, they all have options for changing colours etc in their settings

PS Tiles is a course format, not a theme ;)

Hi Richard,
You are so correct. I guess I was very tired when I wrote this, because I though about "course formats" but wrote "themes". But you know what? The question is valid for both themes and course formats.

BTW, I'm familiar with these 3 themes and each one of them is great in it's own way.

But still, my main interest right now is in course formats.

In that case, maybe the forum moderator could move the discussion across to the course formats forum.
The same general advice holds though - on a test server download several of the course formats from the plugins database and test out which fit your needs, it may be more than one for different situations/courses
