I don't believe that Moodle is intended to have a group calendar, where any student can add their own favorite events and then have every other student see them. If a student enters their own event, it is intended to be private. If the teacher enters an event, this event (I believe) will be seen by students, which might be what you want for your Zoom meetings.

There might be a way to use a Forum for your intended purpose, if you want students to schedule Zoom meetings with other students, or something like that.

I think that there might be a Zoom plugin for Moodle. I don't use Zoom, so I don't know for sure.
