Hello Victoria. Sorry but we prefer to offer help in public on here rather than privately but what I do suggest if you can is that you record your screen and send us the link ensuring there are no privacy issues and we can take a look. Also can you confirm your course doesn't use groups - or if it does use groups then the student in question has been put into a group? And are you able to ask your admin to give you a test student account so you can log in as a student and see for yourself? It is not enough to take the word of a student without seeing what they see.
