PDF always prompting for a download

Moodle version: - 3.9.1+

In a course, I have uploaded a PDF by selecting 'Add an activity or resource' and then selecting 'File' and then uploading my PDF. However, whenever I click on the activity it always prompts me to download the file(PDF). I have also tried changing the options of 'Display' which comes in the 'Appearance' section in 'Edit Settings'. I tried all the options like 'Embed', 'Automatic', 'In frame', etc. , however it is still prompting me to download the PDF.

I want to display the PDF within moodle itself when we click on the respective activity. Is there any way to do it?

This behaviour is probably configured in your browser rather than on the Moodle server. See "How to open a PDF without downloading it" .

Thank you for replying, I tried the above solution however it is still giving me the same issue. Is there any other alternate solution for this?
