How does one report an error (or experimental or calculated uncertainty) in a value in the Moodle calculated question type?
Let us say that the result of a physics calculation is an expression for the right answer, and the student additionally needs to provide the uncertainty in that answer as well (using standard error propagation techniques, or statistically), how do we get a second numerical field?
The answer would be a +/- b. That is two numerical fields for a single answer.
Please note - this has *nothing* to do with the tolerance setting on the quiz question - in fact, both a and b will have their tolerances.
In a pinch, one could set up a second question for the uncertainty, but that is not a good solution to the problem for when shuffling is on.
