Is it possible that moodle.org has cleared sessions today 15 Feb 2021 close to 09:42 UTC? I was editing a post (this one) after I posted it. Trying to submit the change threw the error in the attachment. Apparently I was logged out between the two submissions. The edit was very short, it wan't the time-out. I could log in and finish editing.

Not a big deal. In case, there is a bug.

There was a very quick change made on Moodle.org around the time you experienced this - not long enough to warrant an announcement - it is likely you just happened to be posting at the time of the change.
