If you enter an expression without the star sign in "matrix of variable size" field, for example "2x", then after validation the response field becomes empty, and the entered response is lost. Option "Insert star" don`t work for "matrix of variable size" input type. I understand that matrix elements are separated by spaces, the stack cannot distinguish these separating spaces from spaces in expressions. But losing the response is wrong behavior.
