Short version: is it possible to have an alternate dashboard that is presented to users based on their system role?
Long version: Our Moodle is for internal company use, and generally pretty open. Any user can see & do most courses. I now have a need to add a "restricted user" role that's for a consultant who's helping us with a single course. It's 90% working, but I'm having trouble disabling odds & ends that are on the dashboard page - a random glossary entry, interest & hobby tags, and a link to the Frontpage.
I feel like I've disabled all the appropriate permissions at the role level, but they're still letting the restricted user get places they shouldn't. A perfectly valid solution would be to edit the permissions for each block on the dashboard, but I'd rather avoid this because I'm forgetful and will eventually add a block without prohibiting this person from using it.
It would be much simpler if this individual either had a different dashboard or none at all.
