I just lost some of my activities and resources icons colors
Moodle version: 3.9.3
Theme: Edwiser RemUI
I purged all caches .. still same
I just noticed that the plugins icons that have been upgraded when I upgraded moodle are colored.
Resources/Activities icons are not colored

Try switching to Boost theme and see if you still have the issue. If that works correctly, contact Edwiser. That is a paid theme, they will support it.
