Fresh install stuck at setting admin password

Hi All,

I'm completely new to moodle and wanted to setup a fresh install of moodle 3.10.1.
The installation procedure all works fine up to the point where I have to set a password for my admin user.
For a new password, there's a field that says "Click to enter text", which doesn't respond. ie i can click on that text all i want, but nothing happens, so i'm stuck.

I've tried this from Chrome and FireFox and the result is the same.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Any help would be really appreciated!

Also, If i hit cancel on the page where i'm supposed to set my admin password, i go back to a page (user edit page or so?) which also looks as if it's not right (css missing or so)
Also there's an error there: "Exception - Call to undefined method HTML_QuickForm_Error::setValue()"

Stylesheets (CSS) and JavaScript isn't being loaded for the page.

Normally this is because the site is being accessed over secure HTTPS but your Moodle was configured to use insecure HTTP so the browser blocks these.

Check $CFG->wwwroot in config.php (which is in the Moodle source code folder). This must match the address being used in the browser, $CFG->wwwroot must say 'https://…' for HTTPS access.

Alternatively if you're using Nginx this may not be configured correctly. Start here.

The issue was indeed related to my nginx.conf.

I added:

fastcgi_param PATH_INFO $fastcgi_path_info;
fastcgi_param SCRIPT_FILENAME $document_root$fastcgi_script_name;

And i also had something with "try_files" which i removed and everything is now working as it should.
