Case:
Students can register in a timeslot to take part in different webinars. They enroll in advance, when the link / platform on which the webinar will be held is still unknown. One week before the actual event, the scheduler closes. When we get the webinar link from the company that will be doing the guest lecture, we need to get it to the students that have enrolled.
Problem:
I cannot figure out how to automate this. From the moment we get the webinar link, I would like to stage a message linked to a specific timeslot so that Moodle sends out a message to all enrolled students with the link to the webinar immediately after registration closes.
At the moment, I am doing all this manually. I cannot even get Moodle to send out a message to all registered student in a timeslot. It only allow me to send a reminder to students that have not yet registered in a timeslot. But I need to reach the ones that have registered!
En preferably automate this. I.e. when i setup the scheduler and the timeslot, setup a message that needs to be sent out to registered students at a moment of my choosing.
Any ideas anyone?????
