Thank you for your help. I believe I responded "somewhere" on what happens when I activate javascript cache. The menus "freeze". There was no error message when I turned debugging fully on, but the menus including the profile menu and turn editing on  stopped functioning. They didn't open. Does that make sense?

The answer I got from Edwiser support when I enquired whether their theme was interfering with the enable javascript was to keep cache javascript disabled. BTW, when using Boost I was having the same technical issues.

If the issue is not a plugin on my Moodle site, then is it something else? Or is it a Moodle 3.10 occurrence?

I hope things will go back to normal and I will not need be able to use Google Meet for Moodle with the cache javascript off. I know the developer is working on it.
