Exception : syntax error, unexpected '?'

Hello everyone,

I am currently using Moodle 3.6, with php 7.2 and a "more" theme.

I tried a few days ago to install a plugin to enable an easier registration using QR codes "

Easy Enrollments", and noticed afterwards that the plugin was not compatible with my theme.

Whether the installation of the plugin is irrelevant or not, I have since been unable to access my base of questions, and I can no longer start any new tests, though I can finish those already started. I always get the same error message: " ". I cannot save‌ any new content, and feel completely stuck.

I attach to this message the error page, as well as the report generated when I click on debugging.

Thank you very much in advance for your help,

I am answering my own question, in case someone comes across a similar issue.

My host told me that I had an htaccess file that imposed php 7.0, while my Moodle version demanded php 7.1. This had apparently no consequence until I tried the sign up plugin.
