Can anyone help with this issue? We have built a custom API to auto
enroll new users after they are provision in Moodle. The user
provisioning via API is working fine but the enrollment is not. In our
Moodle dev environment it works fine but it doesn't work in the live
environment. We have self enrollment on in the permissions for the
particular course we are enrolling in via API. Are there other permission settings we need to change?? Any help would be greatly appreciated, we are stuck.

At the risk of being facetious... there's something wrong with your custom API then. Without seeing it and/or understanding what it does it's hard to help.
