I wanted to develop a custom enrollment plugin and integrate it with a local payment gateway in my country, which i couldn't find in the available enrollment plugins. I have got the API and the back end system of the payment gateway ready to use, I just want to know how can I integrate it in an enrollment plugin for moodle, I have read the documentation but couldn't use it to develop my plugin, I only learnt from it how to get started. So if anyone could help me by sharing their experience or guiding me to some helpful documentations or tutorials, that would be very much appreciated
In Moodle core, there is an enrol_paypal module. And, in the plugins database, there are plugins like https://moodle.org/plugins/enrol_stripepayment. I suggested you look at those, to get a feel for how they work, then do something similar with the API for your payment gateway.

I am also in the same situation, the backend is done, but struggling to find any documentation on the moodle docs site about creating a custom payment gateway.
