I am developing final exams on 3.5 version.
My goal is to develop some Essay type questions with some numbers randomly (or predetermined from a set). Then I will mark them manually.
I tried to use the wildcard in Essay. It does not seem to work. I also tried to use Cloze type. I can work on the symbols with { : = etc to make the examples work. But I cannot use the wildcard such as {x} so that I can change the question with different numbers for different students.
Is there any information about how to make it work?
