If a teacher or student has an item in his or hers personal agenda (for example a dentist appointment), will the scheduler notice this when booking a time slot on that specific time?

Example:

Teacher A has an item in his agenda on Monday 13:00-17:00 hours. Teacher tries to add time slots in Scheduler for that same Monday 14:00 hours. Will there be a notification that there will be a conflict in the agenda?

Student B has an item in his agenda on Tuesday 9:00 to 12:00 hours. Student tries to book a Scheduler slot on Tuesday 11:00h. Will the student get a notification that there will be a conflict in the agenda?

Just wondering. We are going to sync Outlook agenda and Moodle agenda between users, so information from outside Moodle will be added to personal Moodle agendas.

Hello Richard,
my experience with the Scheduler is not very intensive, but I think the option "Ignore conflicts" when a teacher adds a slot considers only other Scheduler activities, either within the same scheduler activity or across several scheduler activities on the system. It doesn't check other calendar events.
