My organization has been exploring the Workshop activity. I've enjoyed the power but am still trying to wrap my head around some of the complexities. Two specific issues have come up.
1) Even after the workshop has been closed, the two workshop tasks (submission and assessment) remain on the teacher's timeline and the timeline of students who did not complete the tasks. It's possible this is a permissions issue, but teachers do not appear to have the capacity to submit or assess in workshop activities in our installation. Additionally, the option to allow late submissions is switched off.
2) Perhaps relatedly, we would like students who have not submitted to be given a grade of 0 when the assessment phase is closed. At the moment, the grade is left blank. Is there anyway to give grades of zero to students who did not participate?
