Hello, 

I got a message that I should upgrade to 3.9.3. I am running Moodle 3.9.3. But I cannot.

When I am clicking in Site Administration/ Notifications on "more infos..." I get directed to Moodle 3.10. 

I am working with Mac 10.14.6 and downloaded the Moodle package for Mac OS X to upgrade on 3.9.3, but if I want to run it, I get an error when the app wants to connect with http://localhost:8888/moodle39/. It says the site is not available. 

My server is set in a way to Upgrade to new minor versions and security updates. An it does not do it automatically either. 

I I like to upgrade via my server manually, it does not show me 3.9.3, but only 3.10. 

Does anybody have ideas? Thank you,

You can't upgrade Moodle 2.9 to Moodle 3.9 (or 3.10). Please see https://docs.moodle.org/dev/Moodle_3.9_release_notes#Server_requirements, the minimum version of Moodle is 3.5. To make matters worse, you can't even upgrade 2.9 to 3.5. You need another step in the Middle. So....

2.9 -> 3.1 -> 3.5 -> 3.9

BUT... there are also dependencies on PHP versions. You need to read all the release notes and plan this carefully.

Sorry - it's not straightforward. This is why it's a good idea to keep up to date as much as possible.

Oh, there was a typo in the headline. from 3.9.2 to 3.9.3.

I will check if I can change the headline. In the text it was written right. I am running 3.9.2 and want to upgrade to 3.9.3

I tried this already. I also installed the Moodle package for Mac OS X from this page to upgrade on 3.9.3.
