Themes - will it ever be possible to allow course themes

Themes - will it ever be possible to allow course themes

Hi,

I would love to be able to have this feature available as it is useful when comparing and contrasting different themes.

Is it something that is on the horizon?  If not, does anyone know why it's not possible for MoodleCloud?

Thanks

Michelle

The "compare and contrast" reminded me of an exercise we are doing right now. The site is in German. It basically says, the test users as documented on its front page can chose their own themes from the given list. If the user wants to swap themes quickly appending &theme=THEMENAME to the URL will do the trick.

Here's the site: https://demo.schoolweb.ch/ It is temporary, say till end of the year.

Thanks for replying Visvanath.

It was interesting to see your site. I will have a look at the different themes there.

Does anyone know when different course themes might be possible on moodlecloud?

Cheers

Michelle

MoodleCloud is specific on this:

MoodleCloud plans include the Moodle Standard Theme and the Boost Theme.

Installing your own theme is not possible on MoodleCloud, however you are able to customise many aspects of the themes we have available. This includes the colours, logos, css styles etc.
