for a perfomant Moodle site many aspects come into play. One is clearly the hardware.
We run a Moodle site remote. The servers are physically located at a company.
We do not have VMs but a standalone, wich is a DELL machine (Poweredge R730).
Concerned with disk space and CPU we are fine.
Now we will buy an additional Server. Can you give me crucial receomendations
with regard to server performance ?
Could it be useful to have SSD disks for the Moodle folder ? What can be important
processor ? Etc.
