For dev purposes, standard Moodle works perfectly well, given that it's all generic webserver stuff. By installing manually, I get to replicate my live environment.
The MoodleBox will be interesting when I'm back in the classroom -- I've long been intending to do something similar: a wireless access point for interactive activities is a convenient way to get peoples phones disconnected from the net...!
