I have found that some users with suspended accounts are active in the courses in which they have been enrolled: is there an easy way to make these users inactive in the courses?

The manual way is to enter the course, find the user on the participants page, and change their enrollment status to suspended.
The faster way is to batch them into their courses as suspended using a csv. https://docs.moodle.org/39/en/Bulk_enrolments
You would need one row per course -The row should contain username, course short name, Enrol status of 0

Thanks for the reply.
In fact I am aware of the two modes and I apologize for not writing this in the previous post.
What I mean is the possibility of having an automatic update: when a user is suspended, his status in the courses is also updated as inactive.
In our company we have several courses with thousands of subscribers and updating manually or with the csv would be challenging.

Maybe this tracker issue https://tracker.moodle.org/browse/MDL-67103 is a solution in the future.
