I use the TI-Nspire a lot in my classes. It would be wonderful if it could be used to interface with the formulas question type. I know that Stack uses a CAS, but have never used it (my school has not installed it). Has anybody tried to link the TI-Nspire with the Formulas question type? I realize that would be a huge endeavor, but I would be interested in getting it started. Maybe Texas Instruments might be interested in participating in such a project?
[ Btw. the TI-Nspire is also very useful in creating the formulas in the global variables in the Formulas Question Type. With the online software version it is easy to create e.g. c12=a11*b12+a12*b22+a13*b32; for a matrix multiplication, and just cut and paste it in the global variables field. ]
