Recently I helped to high school technicians to tune a moodle installation, the installation serve to 40,000 students and 2500 teachers, I have: haproxy->>>2 web apps servers (32 GB RAM, 8 vCPUs each one ) whith centos 8, apache 2.4 and php-fpm-7.2, -->>>> DB server 10.3.17-MariaDB, NFS Server activated, SO, DB and NFServer in different SSD disks
$CFG->dataroot point to the NFS shared directory
After that setup the spped in almos all moodle pages are for about 2 seconds to load.
The problem is, When I create a new resourse, the save time is fast, 2-3 seconds, but when I try to edit any resource, and I save it, the time for save goes to 4-7 minutes!
The students doesn't report any slow problem when they save, or edit any activities, It just happen when the administrators modify a resource, what could be happen? any sugestion?
