Cross-Posting here... I'm just starting to learn Moodle, so please forgive me if I'm grossly misunderstanding something.
So we started a website with a couple of courses. One of them is a 2 week course that has a new batch of students every 2 weeks. Right now we're doing manual enrollment and the teacher resets the course at the end of the first batch and adds new students manually for the next batch.
We are planning on opening up automatic enrollment, but we don't want any students in the next batch to be able to view the current course material until their start date. Is there a way to keep just one course or do I have to make a copy of the course for each date every 2 weeks?
So if I allow enrollments for the next 3 months, will I have to create 6 or 7 copies of the course, one for each start date? I'm planning on using Edwiser for payments via woocommerce, and looks like each product (course in wordpress) has to be associated with one course on Moodle.
