As admin, I do quite a bit of logoff/login between admin and user. Things were fine until I imported users (I think, I'm going to call that the 'change' but not completely sure). Of the many import tests I did, there were a few where I tested the require password change (to no avail since I can't get email to work). Happens with both admin and the imported user.
At first it was intermittent, I'd try to login and it would go right to password reset (multiple browsers, multiple devices) and it seemed as if it got progressively worse until I could not login at all in Chrome. So I went to Edge and it happened but when I tried again, got in. Cleared buffers and was able to get in to Chrome.
An old post said to check database > mdl_user > confirmed field and make sure it is set to "1", they are.
So, something is happening in the buffer (?) but what? Any other database tweaks that could help? (wonder if there is a plugin to purge cache every so often)
