Hello,

I have an issue with the Moodle Mobile App.

Previously, the Moodle Mobile app has no issue when our Moodle Site is running on version 3.8  It was running well. No lag at all.

Once upgraded to 3.9 , the Moodle Mobile was so slow in accessing in all the pages e.g. dashboard, course page, calendar, messages etc. Our moodle site (3.9.2) is running fine with 7vCPU and 16GB RAM.

Our Moodle Mobile is on premium plan.

Has anyone experience this?

Please share if you have solve this occurrence.

Many thanks

Hi,

there is a new setting in Moodle app > Disabled features for disabling "Text filtering" that should improve performance although some text filters like Mathjax will store working for your site (if you use them)

Hi,
the new setting is available only from Moodle 3.9 onward (https://tracker.moodle.org/browse/MDL-68537)

As a workaround for previous version, you can lookfor/add in config_plugins Moodle table in database a new setting "tool_mobile_disabledfeatures" with the following value: CoreFilterDelegate
