Hi, we are looking into a new LMS to manage our workshops and HTML5 games and are wondering if Moodle might be a possible replacement. Our current LMS allows us to upload HTML5 educational games created by outside developers.
We need several levels of access for users within the LMS.
Licensees: Pay for access for a preset time period. Can add schools to their license. Grant access to teachers. Can view workshop/game usage by school or teacher
- Teachers: Have access to workshops. Can grant game access to students. Have access to their class/student progress info for each game.
- - Students: Can access games and view their own progress.
Hopefully, this makes sense. The access levels and the HTML5 game progress reports are where I see us deviating from the standard Moodle installation. I expect this would require bringing in a developer to tweak things.
Does anyone see any major stumbling blocks to using Moodle to accomplish these things?
