Assessing knowledge and advising courses

Assessing knowledge and advising courses

Hi there,

Before I try and reinvent the wheel I wondered if anyone else had a solution!

I have some questions that I want students to answer and if they answer over 50% or less I want to advise them to take a course, if they answer 80% or more I want to advise them to take a different course. Has anyone done this in moodle or something similar?

I believe we have Moodle 3.9 installed, if that makes a difference.

Thanks in advance

Gemma

Hello Gemma,
the Overall feedback inside the quiz settings is the right feature for that. If you configure a course whose access depends on the result of that quiz, this whole design would be very consistent.

Thanks Beatriz, I will take a look at it.

We wanted to have one questionnaire that had multiple courses in and group the questions to give a whole learning path. so it could be five courses that they need to do.  Would the quiz handle that?

Hello Gemma,
I don't quite understand what do you mean by "one questionnaire that had multiple courses in". Do you mean that this quiz should be completed by students pertaining to different courses?
