One of my professors is using Jupyter https://jupyter.org/ Is there any thought to adding Jupyter support to the VPL? This is similar, but still different from, the Jupyter SSO question below. Cheers!

Re: Is there any plan to add Jupyter support?
Dear Carl,
I must say that I am not an authentications standard expert and I can not help with the account integration of Moodle and Jupyter. I am a Jupyter user noob, but I think would be nice to have a way to connect Jupyter with VPL.
Currently, VPL supports a web service that allows external tools to use a VPL activity. This service has been used successfully to develop plugins for Eclipse that interact with VPL.
The service is auto documented, you may get detailed information accessing to a Moodle server with VPL as administrator and going to "Site administration > Plugins > Web services > API Documentation"
Currently, we are no planning to develop a kernel (or what is needed) for connecting Jupyter to VPL. But, I think that the VPL web service may help to connect any tool to VPL.
Best regards,
Juan Carlos.
