Normally students will not know that they will accidently be closing the browser window or that the computer will crash. So if they do not "save" their quiz prior to one of these happenings do they not have anything?
I figured that the "save" button was to allow students to finish taking a quiz at a later date/time. But, what if we do not want our students to take a quiz unsupervised? Seems it would be a nice item to allow the instructor the option whether they wanted to allow this or not. After all, it's their quiz.
Maybe I am missing the true purpose of the "save" button. And again, I am thinking in relation to our 6-8 graders, not college level. Maybe it is different in college.
