How are language preferences set for LTI users?
A little test I just did, went as follows
1. Delete the user.
2. Make sure that the default language is set to Norwegian both in the site administration/Language/Language settings, and in the LTI enrolment settings (server-wide).
3. Open the activity as the same remote user which was deleted. (From BlackBoard if it matters.)
4. The new user comes in with English as the preferred language.
Has anyone managed to select language for LTI users on a multi-lingual server? What options do I have to control it?
I know that I can let the students have course level access to change language for their own account, but this is a bit more cumbersome than I would like. Is there a better approach?
