I have to clear the cache to get back to the original state.

Note that my Moodle version is 3.0.10, and I am using Pioneer as the theme.
Yes -> bug -> background repeat issue (CSS) -> browser development tools (F12) -> inspect and work out why -> no longer running M3.0 to look for you.
