We are trying to establish a threshold of simultaneous connections to moodle to prevent DDOS. Does anyone have any suggestions on a valid number of connections per second above which we can reliably determine that there is a DDOS attempt? We would like to configure our firewall to block simultaneous connections per second above a safe amount so as to prevent blocking valid requests.
