We get the message "Invalid response value detected" for each student when grading a forum, with the loading wheel working in the background:

When grading the ordinary way it seems to work:

The settings, are there any contradictions?

I tested with turning of the "Ratings" section, same result.

Using moodle 3.8.5

Hi Peter, were you able to solve your problem? I am in the same situation and I cannot find documentation about it

I'm having this same problem on v3.9 and just posted in this forum (https://moodle.org/mod/forum/discuss.php?d=432873). Have you found a solution to this problem?

sorry to say, we never found the reason to the problem. It's a while ago, we have since then upgraded to 3.9 versions, and I have received no more reports about the problem.
