I have a need to collect the correct date of birth for our users. The date field in their profile is set to required but it has a default value of 01/01/1900 instead of a blank field. If the user does not change this, the system does not flag that the field is not complete and I get a number of users over 100 years old. What is the use in having a requirement on a field if the user is not forced to change it?
Surely I am missing something here.....
