Hello all!
As you might know, on October 6, 7 and 8 we’re hosting MoodleMoot US Online 2020, an online conference about eLearning and Moodle.
Now that the fall semester starts in the Northern hemisphere, many schools and universities won’t be able to teach in their usual classroom setting, so it’s the right time to share strategies, ideas and inspiration to create great distance learning experiences for our students.
At #MootUS20 you’ll hear from lots of teachers and trainers working in universities, K-12 schools and businesses, who’ll share how they’re using Moodle to support their teaching and learning processes. You’ll discover innovative ways to use Moodle to teach and connect with learners - and you’ll be able to take some of these ideas back to your school or university!
Here are some of our program highlights for Educators:
Managing A Successful Virtual Team - Katrhin Fortin
Engaging Online Elementary Students - Dan McGuire
Moodle Inspiration and Ideas - Michelle Lomman
Engaging Learners Workshop - Mary Cooch & Helen Foster
MoodleMoot US 2020 will happen entirely online, on a virtual venue built on Moodle Workplace. Our live sessions will be held between 9am and 5pm EST. If you’re in a different time zone or you can’t be online at that time, don’t worry! You’ll still have access to all the sessions, because we’ll record everything and share it on our platform for you to watch on demand.
And, just like at our face-to-face Moots, with so much learning also comes a lot of fun, collaboration and networking opportunities. From a virtual café open 24h where you can chat to Moodlers from all around the world, to our online treasure hunt, open discussions with Moot speakers and delegates in the forums, and much more.
Learn more about the event on our #MootUS20 webpage. Our early bird tickets finish on September 14, so book yours today!
