Accessing Moodle from internal and external network at the same time

Hello,

We have installed Moodle 3.6 in new VM with Linux centos 7 and Apache, MySQL, and PHP configurations.

The VM is hosted in a physical server inside a datacenter including firewall/fortigate and DNS.

We have configured a public domain outside the datacenter with A record pointing to a public IP. And then configured the datacenter DNS to direct the public IP to the Local IP assigned to the VM.

Now, We configure the Apache Server root document to the Moodle root directory, and set the root path to the domain inside the Moodle config.php

Then we could reach Moodle from outside the local network normally; however we are not able to access Moodle from inside the local network even if we put the domain or the local ip in the browser of any computer in the local network.

Please help! It is a production environment and I may become jobless!!
