Using question bank for revision - Create a random test based on user defined variables

I would like to use the question bank as a revision tool. 

Questions would be in subcategories. 

I would like the user to be able to define the following

1. Number of questions

2. The subcategories to be included in the quiz. 


After the quiz I would like to be able to store how well the student does in each topic to help with their revision. 


Is there anything like this in Moodle?
