Many thanks, Tim. I think I can live with this as it is. Not giving students the ability to reattempt the same question multiple times makes it impossible for them to progressively 'converge' to the correct answer, discouraging random guessing and (hopefully) encouraging them to read the solutions and try to understand what is actually going on
