Print course information such as "course content" on the certificate

Print course information such as "course content" on the certificate

Good morning, everyone,

For certification reasons, we have the requirement to print the "course content text" on the certificate as well

(that means information about the taught content).

Unfortunately, I do not see how this could be done.

Can anyone help me with this?

Many thanks in advance

If I understand your requirement correctly, you will include a bief summary of what elements were included in the course.
You could try using the Text element and use HTML
and
to force line breaks. For this to work as expected the template image must have enough room for multiple lines. Additionally, the html tags override the plug-in alignment settings.

Kind Regards

Hi Shirley,
thank you very much, please, can you tell me a little bit more about "... use HTML"???
I do not know exactly what you mean by that mixed
I would like to read out this text field content from an existing Moodle element which is already created within the course (or which is specially created) and print it on the certificate.
Can this be solved via HTML?
Best regards
Ralf

When you add a Text element, you will be able to "format" your text using HMTL.

On the Moodle Documentation pages you might find this helpful.

Hello, Shirley,
thank you very much, but I'm probably just too stupid to understand this, sorry lächelnd
I have an appendix here that shows what information I can change (since there is nothing with anything HTML-like).
But even if there was:
WHAT should or can I do to print my course content text, part of the Moodle Course Elements, (a pure description that I can create ANYWHERE e.g. as Textfield, additional Topic or more) into the Custom Certificate?
Sorry again, Shirley, but I just don't understand the "HTML" hint, it's like you're recommending "42" as a solution.
Please, can you tell me a little bit more?
Thank you and best wishes from the deep Hunsrück forest

In the Text area, you can add more than just a single line of text.
You can have multiple lines of text, but you will need to format the text.
You may need to use HMTL to format the text. HMTL is a standard text formatting tool.
If the Moodle Document doesn't help, try Google Search on HTML basics.

Hello, Shirley,
Hey, thanks a lot, I think I get it now!!
If I get it right, even though it looks like a simple input field, I can insert HTML formatted text.
And now I understand further:
This allows me to link from any part of my Moodle course to this field via HTML.
Shirley, you are so cool and you had so much patience with a poor stupid farmer from the country smile
Thanks again and have a nice weekend

Many greetings
