I have really tried to search but without any reliable answer. During an exam today one student, just like others, seemed very busy working on her exam throughout (we were able to see this because it was proctored). However when when the exam period elapsed all her work was returned with blanks (no answers) as if she did not attempt any question. And the system says "Finished". The questions in the exam were all essay and she is now graded zero by the system because there is no write up to grade.
That being the case, we reopened the exam and allowed her a second attempt.
This was the second time have experienced this challenge. It again happened to another student during another exam for a different course.
Just what could we have done to get her initial work?
