Preface...I am a hack and not a super skilled web, php guru.
I am doing a small Moodle implementation to begin offering online technical courses and to augment on-site training.
On a fresh install, Moodle 3.9.1 Build 20200723, I am seeing the opcache.enable warning advising I enable it. PHP Version is 7.4.8. I am using a theme called Lambda. My environment would be maybe 10-15 concurrent users so a very small implementation.
I am hosted at Bluehost and have checked the server (Apache) and I see a php.ini entry in my site root directory public_html. In Moodle PHP info it seems it is enabled and shows php74/root/usr/lib64/php' '--enable-pcntl' '--enable-opcache'
opcache.enable = 1 opcache.memory_consumption = 128 opcache.max_accelerated_files = 4000 opcache.revalidate_freq = 60 ; Required for Moodle opcache.use_cwd = 1 opcache.validate_timestamps = 1 opcache.save_comments = 1 opcache.enable_file_override = 0I have checked with Bluehost and they claim that it is enabled and working.
Final Notes: The site seems to be running fine except I get broken Icons in the text editor. The theme provider says this is a core issue and it is because opcache is not enabled (I find strange because this only seems to happen in Lambda not in Boost, but I digress).
I can only assume that I am missing something and any assistance pointing me the the right direction would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance for your assistance an patience.
