Problem: after changing the role to e.g .: Student from Admin, the courses and their content do not display with the same permissions as the student role. Permission options have been checked and it should work, unfortunately it doesn't.

based on my experience, this is expected behavior. It's like some permissions of admins always remain when switching roles. What I do is to create a dummy student user which I use when I want to be sure about what a student can do or see.
